I have been developing software professionally since graduating from Michigan State University in 2003. I am passionate about my craft and take pride in creating applications that delight customers with their look, feel, and functionality. I believe that software should work the way you expect it to, and nothing beats a clean, elegant solution. In the spirit of agile software development, I strive to identify and implement the simplest solution to complex problems. I have also come to embrace test-driven development and believe it helps to drive quality.

When I’m not working, I enjoy watching or participating in sports, playing Xbox, and spending time with my beautiful wife. My lifelong-learner mentality keeps me constantly reading and experimenting with new technologies, and I’m always looking for the next new, exciting thing.
